Shalimar Nutrients Pvt. Ltd. was founded to set up an innovative Soyabean Crushing and Extracting Plant in 2014, at Nagpur, Maharashtra, spread over an expansive area of 23 acres.
The plant has a working capacity of 600 Mt per day, and produces NON-GMO soya products ranging from HIPRO soybean meal and defatted soya variants to dehulled full fat soya and NON-GMO soya lecithin. The in-house Alfa Laval refinery at the plant has a production capacity of 130 Mt a day, where the crude oil is refined using the most modern facilities to produce nutritious refined soyabean oil enriched with vitamins A, D, and E. The refined soyabean oil is marketed under the brand name ‘TOTAL GOLD’ which is popular in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and regions of Maharashtra, such as Vidarbha. NON-GMO soya lecithin is produced at 5 Mt per day which is presently exported to Europe.
